Visit to Planetarium

In previous years, i’ve often used my birthday as an excuse to take a group up Bothmaskop in the Jonkershoek mountain range in Stellenbosch, where we’ve then enjoyed tea and coffee and breakfast while overlooking the Boland, False Bay and Table Bay.  It’s been a great way to welcome new students and acquaint them with some of the splendours of Stellenbosch and meet and mix with other Maties.

Well, Easter is behind us, and the elections past. The once-more lit-up cross up at the top of the Papegaaiberg mountain just north-west of my flat and good music provide some inspiration for catching up with y’all again…

Well, Easter is with us: the time for remembering God’s grace, love, and purpose for us

Today is also special to me because it was one year ago that I moved to Stellenbosch. The past year has been one one of major challenges, questions and choices; but also one of the greatest excitement, discovery, growth, joy and purpose.
